Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms set forth the conditions for the use of this Service (figmee). Users shall use this Service upon agreeing to these Terms.

Article 2 (User Registration)

Those who wish to use this Service shall apply for user registration by the method prescribed by the Company upon agreeing to these Terms. The Company may refuse user registration if it determines that the applicant falls under any of the following:

  • If false information has been provided in the application
  • If the application is from a person who has previously violated these Terms
  • If the Company otherwise deems the registration inappropriate

Article 3 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in any of the following activities:

  • Activities that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
  • Activities related to criminal acts
  • Activities that destroy or interfere with the functions of the Company's servers or network
  • Activities that may interfere with the operation of the Company's services
  • Activities that collect or accumulate personal information of other users
  • Impersonating other users
  • Activities that directly or indirectly provide benefits to anti-social forces in connection with the Company's services
  • Activities that infringe on intellectual property rights such as copyrights and trademarks
  • Activities that defame others or damage their reputation or credibility
  • Any other activities that the Company deems inappropriate

Article 4 (Suspension of Service)

The Company may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if it determines that any of the following reasons exist:

  • When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates on the computer systems for the Service
  • When provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
  • When computers or communication lines are stopped due to an accident
  • When the Company otherwise determines that provision of the Service is difficult

Article 5 (Copyright)

The copyright of images uploaded by users belongs to the users themselves. The Company uses images uploaded by users solely for the purpose of generating figurine-style images and 3D models. The Company does not use user images for AI model training, nor does it sell, lease, or publish them to third parties (except when the user chooses to make them public via the sharing feature).

The copyright of images generated through this Service shall be governed by applicable laws.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable for damages incurred by users in connection with this Service, except where such damages are attributable to the Company's intentional act or negligence.

Even where the Company is liable for damages, the amount of compensation shall be limited to the total amount of usage fees paid by the user to the Company during the 12-month period preceding the date of the damage. However, this limitation shall not apply in cases of intentional or gross negligence on the part of the Company.

Article 7 (Product Shipping)

Shipping of 3D figurines (physical products) sold through this Service is limited to within Japan. International shipping is not available.

There are no regional restrictions for digital products such as 3D model data, image data, and tokens.

If the shipping address is incorrect or if the product cannot be delivered due to extended absence, the cost of redelivery shall be borne by the user.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The Company may change these Terms when it deems necessary. When changing the Terms, the Company will publish the details of the changes and the effective date on its website. For significant changes, the Company will provide advance notice through in-service notifications or email. The revised Terms shall take effect from the published effective date.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute arising in connection with this Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.

Article 10 (Severability)

If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable under the Consumer Contract Act or any other applicable laws, the remaining part of such provision and all other provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
