When you generate a 3D image, you can choose from three quality levels: "Standard", "Pro" and "Max". Here is a guide for when you're not sure which one to pick.
Differences between quality levels
On screen, each level is described as follows:
- "Standard": "Outputs an image at standard quality (1 token)"
- "Pro": "Produces images with finer detail (2 tokens)"
- "Max": "Produces images with the finest detail (3 tokens)"
"Standard" uses 1 token, "Pro" uses 2 and "Max" uses 3. "Standard" is selected by default.
Choosing a quality level and generating
- Upload the illustration you want to turn into a 3D image.
- In the quality menu next to the "Generate 3D Image" button, choose "Standard", "Pro" or "Max".
- Select "Generate 3D Image".
You can also check the quality descriptions in "Generation quality", which opens when you select the ? button near the menu.
How to choose
- Start with "Standard", and choose "Pro" or "Max" for works where you want finer detail. This helps you avoid wasting tokens.
- A higher quality level doesn't guarantee a result you'll like. If you're unsure, you can also select "Regenerate" at the same quality and compare the results.
Good to know
- "Regenerate" also uses as many tokens as the quality level selected at that time.
- If a generation fails, you get back the same number of tokens you used for the selected quality.
- Generating a 3D model uses the same number of tokens (5 tokens), whatever the 3D image quality.
