Knowing what Figmee doesn't currently support before you start can save you from surprises.
About 3D models
- You can save 3D models in two formats: GLB and 3MF. Formats such as VRM, FBX, OBJ and STL are not available.
- Rigging (adding a skeleton of bones so the model can move) and animation are not supported. A 3D model is static: it contains only shape and color data.
- You can't change the shape of a 3D model or split it into parts in Figmee. To edit the shape, import the GLB into 3D software such as Blender and edit it there.
For the differences between GLB and 3MF, see Downloading your 3D model (GLB, 3MF).
About 3D printing
- Ordering 3D prints through Figmee is Coming Soon. You can't place an order yet. Once the service is available, delivery will be limited to Japan.
- The 3MF file you can save is meant for your own 3D printer or for print services that accept 3MF files. Because the data is generated automatically, whether it prints as is, and how accurately colors and fine details are reproduced, depends on your printer and software.
About images
- Photos of real people, animals, objects or scenery, and images that look like photos, can't be turned into 3D images. Figmee works with drawn illustrations.
- You can upload PNG, JPEG and WebP images. GIF is not supported.
For details, see Images you can upload and image rights.
